Our History

Frogge Pond is a social cooperative, and Vancouver-based online studio created in 2022, with a history of collaborative projects dating to 2017. We are a group of 5 gender and neurodiverse persons aiming to tell our stories and lived experiences through games.

We create various products that use trauma-informed approaches, ensuring accessibility and user-friendliness. Addressing themes of death, grief, hope, empathy, and bonds, our games range from VR, 2D, 3D and digital novels and received a Showcase Award for Excellence granted by SFU Interactive Arts and Technology, judged by industry professionals such as Andy Leung (Environment Outsource Review Artist) from PlayStation and Rich Brown (Executive Producer) from Bkom Studios.

Our products also include designing graphic art for promoting youth-friendly game development courses created by local Vancouver coding courses.

Our Mission

Our aim at Frogge Pond Studios is to create games that remain meaningful to our lived experiences and impactful to our communities while letting our creative spirits challenge us. However, regardless of our ambitions, our motto remains to not take ourselves too seriously in the journey. We hope to continue connecting with the Game Dev Community in Vancouver!
